Lauren Mary Kim, born on February 1, 1981, in Stockton, California, is an American stunt performer, martial artist, and actress. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a dancer, performing with the NBA's Sacramento Kings and later as a Laker Girl. An adult gymnastics class sparked her transition into stunt work, which she pursued during college, where she met stunt professionals who introduced her to martial arts. Kim's martial arts training is extensive and diverse. She earned black belts in Taekwondo and Hapkido under Master Jun Chong. She further honed her skills in Wushu, training with Ming Qi, Ricky Jacobs, Tim Storms, and Ji Jing of the Beijing Wushu Team.
