Emmett Swann (Directing)

Emmett Swann is an award-winning writer, director, producer, and editor whose work blends atmospheric tension, character-driven storytelling, and a lifelong love of horror. He began writing during the pandemic as a creative experiment, but the desire to bring his ideas to life quickly led him to found Duckwood Productions, a filmmaking partnership rooted in the combined names of Swann (Duck) and his producer Jacob Oakes (Wood). Swann has written, directed, and edited four short films-It Comes For You, Agent GB, The Other, and the upcoming Out of Sight-and has also produced additional narrative work, including the dramatic short Self-Talk. His films have screened at festivals across the United States and internationally, receiving recognition for acting, sound design, cinematography, and genre excellence.
