Nadika Weligodapola (Sound)

Nadika Weligodapola is a prolific composer, music producer, and performing artist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has been trained as a traditional dancer since childhood. Nadika has composed, performed, and recorded music with both local and international artists. His debut album, “Land Of The Nirvana”, released in 2020, successfully merged experimental sound textures with a variety of sounds from World Music culture. The album seamlessly blended Sri Lankan Folk, Indian Classical, Jazz, Electronic, and Trance, creating multiple sonic voices that left listeners yearning for more. As the founder & co-director of THEEVRA Arts Organization (Est 2004), Nadika has made significant contributions to various directors, theatre, and dance companies as a composer and artistic director.
