Michael Washington-El (born July 21, 1983), better known by his stage names "G. Twilight", "Twilliam Shakespeare" and "Alshafaq El-Bey", is a American rapper, music producer, and voice actor. He is known for telling raw, authenticity and direct lyrical narratives rooted in his experiences growing up in an American inner-city. His music often explores themes of religious delusion, mental health issues, economic disenfranchisement, the '94 Crime Bill, the school-to-prison pipeline and urban decay. He also known for his blunt, gritty, and often nihilistic descriptions of his once ongoing day-in-the-life street crime, ambition, conflicts and frequent mocking of former real-life rivals.
