Keith Qi Chen (Keith Qixi Chen, Qifei Chen) was born in China and moved to New York at the age of 13, where he began his journey in the film industry, pursuing a career in both the United States and China. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (Cinematography) from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Later, he went on to complete his Master's Degree in Fine Arts (Film Directing) at the Beijing Film Academy, where he had the privilege of studying under Zhuang Zhuang Tian, and Keming Hou. In 2003, he received a Best Cinematography nomination for 'Overture' (directed by Christopher Wedding) at the Dusty Film Festival. In 2004, he was nominated for Best Actor for his role in 'Chinese Dream' (directed by Victor Quinaz) at the Rome International Film Festival in Georgia.
