George Stagakis (Directing)

George Stagakis was born in Athens in 2002 and raised in Chalkida, Greece. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies from SAE Athens (2020-2023). He has written, directed, and edited the short film Clementine, which premiered at the 47th Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece. He also won best national editor award, at the 3rd Spicy Indie International Film Festival in Athens. Clementine is a personal film inspired by the life of his mother, who was never able to pursue her true passion, football. He is also the director of his first short film On the Hill, which has been selected by various short film festivals across Greece.
