Yaser Al-Nyrabeah is an actor, writer and comedian. While growing up in Ontario, Canada, Yaser was born in Florida to two Syrian refugees, his mother, a writer herself and school teacher, and his father, a small Syrian sweets shop owner and poet. Throughout his stand-up, Yaser discusses the dualities of growing up in the west while belonging to a culturally rich Syrian background. He also touches on his Muslim upbringing while also being experimental in other religious during his late teens. Yaser has frequented shows at clubs like The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv and Ice House in Pasadena.
