Dan David Higgins is one of Scotland's up and coming film composers whose list of film credits demonstrate his variety of musical skills. Born in Glasgow to a musical family, Higgins went onwards to pursue a career in music at Riverside Music Complex , at the age of 21 he later graduated from the University of Wolverhampton, from which he studied performance industries and went on to specialize in Film scoring. His first achievement was for short-film "Flitter (2023)" and "The Life Coach (2023)" both directed by Grant Deans and both written by Award winning author RJ Ellory. For "Flitter", Dan received the Award for Best Musical Score at the '48 hour film project, Edinburgh 2023', while "The Life Coach" received a nomination for Best Musical Score at the '48 hour film project, Glasgow 2023'.
