Misel Chrysafo (Production)

Misel Chrysafo is a Greek American, second generation. Her family immigrated here through Ellis Island. Misel, was known throughout her childhood as Michelle, English for Misel. She stenciled and drew her doodles growing up. She didn't realize she was an artist or think about going to art school until she became involved in the Burning Man community when she moved from West Los Angeles to the Bay Area in 2005. There she contributed to many art pieces including 3 of her own when she attended the festival for 14 years in a row. Finally knowing that she wanted to take her art to a professional level she began to study with SFAI, San Francisco Art Institute, under their second bachelor degree program in early 2013.
