Anna Widerberg is a Swedish author, writer, communicator, and filmmaker based in Västerås. She grew up in Mölndal and on Getterön outside Varberg. During the 1990s, she worked for ten years as a journalist at VLT in Västerås. She later trained as a deacon and worked in several parishes, leading grief support groups and participating in social projects. In the early 2010s, she served as a political secretary for the Green Party in Västmanland and later worked as a communicator and web editor for the City of Västerås. Since 2016, she has been a freelancer, running her own business in writing, film, and web content. Anna Widerberg’s writing is characterized by deep explorations of grief and existential themes.
