Sebastián Bocanegra (Directing)

Sebastian Bocanegra was born in Trujillo, a coastal town eight hours north of Lima, Perú’s capital. He discovered filmmaking through frequent movie outings with his parents, where he fell in love with the endless worlds cinema could open up. From a young age, Sebastian knew he wanted to become a storyteller. At 17, he began his studies in Liberal Arts at Queens College in New York, USA. He later graduated with a degree in Communications from the Universidad de Lima, where he developed his skills as a director, cinematographer, and writer. In 2022, he co-founded Oss, a production company born from collaboration with university classmates. Known for both commercial work and original content, Oss has steadily grown over the past three years, building a reputation in the Peruvian market and working with major brands such as LEN, BBVA, and Puma.
