Eli Fischer (Camera)

Eli Fischer is a Houston based independent filmmaker. Working as a director, writer, and cinematographer, he is a adamant lover of all things movies. His first short film "Desires! And the Temptations to Follow!" is a noir inspired fantasy that incorporates images and videos from the 1927 film "Metropolis" in order to tell the story of a man who becomes obsessed with an angelic figure he sees in his dream. The film won Best Short at the River Oaks Theater Short Film Competition in 2022. He quickly followed that up by co-directing another short film for NASA's Cinespace competition titled "Apollo: The Space Dog" which chronicles a dog's attempt to break the monotony of his life and journey into space.
