Michael Lamarra is an Emmy winning (2022 Documentary – 20/20: The Babies of 9/11 Twenty Years Later), New York based Cinematographer that loves his work. He's shot projects that screened at Tribeca (Master the Minimum) and Philadelphia Independent Film Festival (Don’t Bother The Neighbors). He enjoys crafting visuals for narrative and doc shorts and features, as well as filming for the major networks including ABC, CBS, Hearst, and private clients like Disney, Deutsche Bank, and Target. Michael is a founding member of Girlsoup Collective where he films collaborative projects. He enjoys camping in national parks with his partner, rock climbing, SCUBA, ice climbing and snowboarding in his free time. He wrote and created three short films out of Hunter College (Logan’s Power, Surface Tension, and The Brown Recluse), and became a co-founder of the collective, Girl Soup.
