Benjamin Doherty (Sound)

Benjamin Doherty is a composer for film, TV and theatre. He holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Creative Music Production graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2020. Recently he composed the score for the features Steel: The Blood of Us, a documentary that follows the community of Port Talbot and the news of the Steelworks closure, and I’ve Seen All I Need To See, an intimate dark drama that deals with grief. Both films have started their festival submissions. He has composed scores for films that have been supported by institutes such as the BFI, Sundance Institute and Sky Arts. His work has been selected at BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals including: BFI Flare, Aesthetica, deadCenter, Norwich Film festival, Iris Prize, Austin Film Festival and Bolton Film Festival.
