Christopher Belsey is a composer currently active in the indie film scene in Glasgow, scoring and producing music for a variety of films and documentaries Christopher’s journey in music began when he started to learn the piano at the age of eight. Throughout his piano studies he developed a fascination for musical notation and how music worked in films, all of which ultimately led to his ambition to learn about film scoring and orchestration. After finishing school, he continued in higher education by first studying Sound Production at college level before advancing on to study composition at Edinburgh Napier University.
