Jimmy Iovine (Production)

Jimmy Iovine is a trailblazer in music, business, and education. He is the co-founder of Beats Electronics (Beats by Dre) and Beats Music, alongside hip-hop producer and virtuoso Andre “Dr. Dre” Young. He is also the co-founder of Interscope Records, the USC Iovine and Young Academy and the Iovine and Young Center (IYC). In 2022, Iovine was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the Ahmet Ertegun Award. Hailing from the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, Iovine started his career at the famed Record Plant recording studio in his late teens, where vocalists and musicians like John Lennon and Bruce Springsteen were able to bring their musical visions to life.
