Eleftheria Deko (Lighting)

Eleftheria Deko (Ελευθερία Ντεκώ), a lighting designer since 1990, has designed lighting for more than 450 performances for theater, music and dance, opera and visual art installations, for which she has received excellent reviews, distinctions and awards. Among other things, she was awarded the title of “Female Artist of the Year 2009” for her contribution to theater and the arts in general. After 5 years in New York, where she simultaneously worked as a lighting designer and taught Lighting Design at New York University (NYU), she returned to Greece in 1992.
