Jasper Philipp Mielke (*1982 in Ratzeburg) is a German film producer. Mielke studied Applied Media Management at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences starting in 2004 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007. He then began working as a film producer and later completed film studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2016, together with Karoline Henkel and Arto Sebastian, he founded the production company Wood Water Films. His next feature film was Schneeblind, about a blind boy during the hunger winter of 1946/47 in the Black Forest. In 2021, he produced Bürgermeister, Schäfer, Witwe, Drache (Mayor, Shepherd, Widow, Dragon), which won multiple awards at the Max Ophüls Film Festival. This was followed by Alaska in 2023 and Jenseits der blauen Grenze (Beyond the Blue Border) in 2024. With the documentary film Soldaten des Lichts (Soldiers of Light), he was nominated for the VFF Documentary Film Production Award at DOK.fest Munich 2025....
