Sébastien Hussenot (Production)

After working as a stage manager and production assistant for several years, Sébastien founded LA LUNA PRODUCTIONS in 1994 and quickly moved into production, driven by a desire to discover new talent. Over the years, he has produced more than 100 films (short films, documentaries and feature films) screened worldwide, winning multiple awards, including an Oscar nomination in 2009 for the short fiction film Manon sur le bitume (directed by Elizabeth Marre and Olivier Pont). Recently, he produced Sanki Yoxsan, directed by a young Azerbaijani filmmaker, which was presented in the official competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, Tsutsue (directed by Amartei Armar), a co-production with AKA Entertainment (Ghana), also in the Official Competition at Cannes in 2022, and America (directed by Giacomo Abbruzzese), nominated for a César Award in 2022.
