Tin Pang is an award-winning film and television director, known for crafting diverse stories that reflect contemporary Australia, informed by his experiences growing up as an Asian-Australian. With works ranging from irreverent comedy to intimate drama, he has a strong focus on performance and the portrayal of unique characters. His short films, The Pale Moonlight and Mother, Child have screened at festivals across the globe, including MIFF, Flickerfest, St Kilda, World-Fest Houston, HollyShorts and Fantasia. In 2017, Mother, Child received the ATOM Award for Best Short Fiction and a Silver Remi Award at World-Fest Houston. That same year, Tin was invited to attend MIFF’s Accelerator Lab for emerging talent. In 2018, Tin completed a Director’s Attachment with director Catherine Millar on A Place To Call Home (Foxtel).
