Luca Silver (Directing)

Luca Silver (they/them) is an artist and filmmaker based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have wanted to be a filmmaker since the day Star Wars played on the hospital room TV as they were being born. Before they could afford a camera, they drew adventure comic books starring their classmates. In middle school, Luca began filming spy capers and action movies in the weekends and summers while turning in a video for every class project. In high school, they helped set the curriculum for the new media program and led the team to national recognition. Luca attended Columbia College Chicago for one year before the pandemic hit, whereupon moving to Nashville, Tennessee, they took the opportunity to drop out, release the fashion musical PHANTASY (2020), and spend nine months creating The Naked Eye (2021), an erotic horror film shot on iPhone, using only objects available around the house.
