Angelika Rainer (Acting)

Angelika Rainer is three times World Champion and two times Vice-Champion in Iceclimbing. Already as a child Angelika liked hiking with her mother in the mountains of South Tyrol and climbing trees in her garden. After she got in touch with a rock for the first time in her life at the age of 10, doing her very first fixed-rope route, she couldn't think about anything but climbing. The climbing hall, that was opened two years later in her hometown Merano, gave Angelika the possibility to indulge her passion with every fibre of her body. In 2008 Angelika's childhood dream came true: she won for the first time an Iceclimbing World Cup competition in Saas Fe, Switzerland. In 2012 and in 2015 she won the Overall World Cup ranking.
