Lotta Maria Johanna Backlund (born 14 October 1980 in Budapest, Hungary) is the Head of Development of television production company Warner Bros. International Television Production Finland. She has also been a Finnish stand-up comedian, television journalist and politician. Backlund has served on the board of the Finnish Student Union, among other things, and was a Coalition Party candidate in the 2007 parliamentary elections. Backlund was Finland's UN youth delegate in 2006. In the spring of 2007, Backlund appeared in the short-lived "Kuka, mitä, häh?" as a standard programmer. She was the presenter of the morning program on the NRJ radio channel from March 2006 to November 2007. Backlund has also hosted a humorous B-studio current affairs program on Nelonen together with Steen1. Since 2012, Backlund has worked as a development manager and producer for the television production company Eyeworks Finland, which was later acquired by Warner Bros.
