Chris Wade is a Leeds based musician, writer, filmmaker and artist. He is most known for his critically acclaimed music project DODSON AND FOGG. He worked with the late Rik Mayall on an audio recording of his novel Cutey and the Sofaguard, records with Nigel Planer under the name Rainsmoke and pens books on music and film, as well as writing the ongoing Hound Dawg Magazine. He also wrote and directed the film, THE APPLE PICKER, featuring Nigel Planer and Toyah Willcox, which was picked as official selection for the Sydney World Film Festival. His first documentary was about the jazz singing surrealist George Melly, which was premiered at the Chelsea Arts Club in October 2018 and went on to have a number of theatrical screenings.
