Carlos Guity (Crew)

Carlos Guity was born and raised in the South Bronx, New York. At the young age of 8, after years of flipping on the streets of the South Bronx, he was accepted into the New York School for Circus Arts, which was run by the Big Apple Circus. At the school, he trained in circus arts, which were composed of basic ballet, tumbling, hand-to-hand acrobatics, foot juggling, juggling, pyramids, and unicycles, to name a few. In 1990, he joined the professional core company of the Big Apple Circus, and he would spend 8 years as an acrobat. He performed in numerous acrobatic acts, which included teeterboard, 3 and 4-person hand balancing, juggling, elephants, dance, and comedy acrobatic acts.
