Joseph Rene (Acting)

Joseph Rene was born as Joseph Rene Perez Herrera on June 9th, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Christina Cantu and Marcos Cantu, a transmission expert. He is the oldest of five, followed by: Amanda Herrera, Blanca Teresa Herrera, Jimmy Cantu, and Sofia Cantu. Besides his immediate family, his grandmother Teresa Herrera and great aunt Blanca Resendez have had a strong influential significance throughout his life. At Harlandale High School, Joseph Rene engaged in various sports, as well as being very dedicated to his studies. It was during his high school years that he experienced his first taste of acting through a student film project, as well as taking a drama course.
