Sol Saihati (Lighting)

Sol Saihati is a British gaffer. Saihati's early career included extensive work as a gaffer on short films and independent projects, as well as roles as a lighting technician and grip on major international features. His early credits include work on Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), X-Men: First Class (2011), Hugo (2011), World War Z (2013), Paddington (2014), and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). By the mid-2010s, Saihati was regularly serving as gaffer on narrative features and television, including Rillington Place (2016), The Innocents (2018), The Essex Serpent (2022), and The Son (2022). His television work expanded further with Brave New World (2020), where he served as second-unit gaffer, and with The Crown (2016), where he contributed as gaffer to the visual effects unit.
