Alejandro "Male" García Caballero (Directing)

He studied Graphic Design at the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) in Mexico City and is the founder of the animation studio Llamarada. His debut film, Sin juicio (2010), participated in the Cusco International Short Film Festival in Peru; the Klik! Amsterdam Animation Festival in the Netherlands; the Mostra Udigridi Mundial de Animación in Brazil; and the Mostra Lisbon Animated Festival in Portugal, among others. His second short film, Las tardes de Tintico (2012), Best Animated Short Film at the 10th FICM, was presented at festivals such as the Havana International Film Festival in Cuba; the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival in Colombia; and the San Francisco International Film Festival, among others.
