Pedro Augusto Almeida (Directing)

Filmmaker born in Setúbal, Portugal, in the early 1990s. He has a College Degree in Video and Documentary Cinema from ESTA and a Postgraduate Degree in Art Studies from FBAUP. In 2012, was selected for “Borderline”, an international film project which had the support of Guimarães European Capital of Culture 2012. Between 2013 and 2016 he was the projectionist at Teatro do Campo Alegre, in Porto. At the end of 2014, he was selected for RTP Academia 3.0, where he did the photography and editing of the 8-episode program “#Hashtag”, which premiered on the Public National Channel. At the end of 2015 comes the invitation to participate in the production of the film “O Cinema, Manoel de Oliveira e Eu” (2016), by João Botelho, filmed entirely in the city of Porto.
