Mario Addis (Visual Effects)

Mario Addis, born in Tempio Pausania, Sardinia, started working in 1984 as an animator in Michel Fuzellier and Giovanni Ferrari’s studio. In 1989, he founded the production studio Gertie together with Franco Serra and started working as a producer and director. He directed several commercials, TV theme songs and video clips (he devised the opening credits of ‘Mostro’ by Roberto Benigni and the first video clip of ‘Voglia Di Gridare’ by Daniele Silvestri, an Italian singer). In 1999, Oreste Del Buono, director of Linus magazine, published his series on the vampire ‘Alef’, which ran for more than a year. As an animator, he works with talented directors, such as Maurizio Nichetti, Dario Fo, Giulio Cingoli, Enzo D’Alò and Roberto Benigni.
