George DeTitta Jr. (Art)

The first son of George & June DeTitta; George DeTitta Jr. has a long film legacy stretching to the beginning of film. George's father, George DeTitta Sr, also worked as a set decorator, retiring in 2004. Some of George's father's credits include Three Days of the Condor, The Exorcist, State of Grace & Fatal Attraction. George's grandfather, also George, or affectionately known to the family as Pop, entered the film industry in the early 1920's , first as an electrician & then moving into sound when sound became a craft in the late 1920's. His early credits include working with the Marx Brothers & the director, D W Griffith. George's grandfather finished his career as a soundman in the mid 1960's, working on the Julie Andrews movie, Star.
