Murray Barber (Visual Effects)

Murray Barber is a multi award winning independent VFX supervisor with over 20 years experience. He was one of the five founding-owners of Milk, an Academy and BAFTA award-winning, visual effects company, based in London. Murray worked closely with acclaimed director Ben Wheatley as VFX Supervisor on his 2015 and 2016 feature films High-Rise and Free Fire. As Milk's VFX Supervisor on Doctor Who Murray led the team to win two BAFTA Television Craft Awards in 2014 and 2015, one of which was directed by Wheatley. Murray supervised VFX work on Working Titles Film Swimmers, supervising the shoot in Turkey during lock down, YouTube's ten episode sci-fi series Origin, including four months supervising the VFX shoot in Cape Town, South Africa.
