Matheus Moura has a degree in Social Communication with a major in Cinema and Audiovisual from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and is in his third year of production specialization at EICTV in Cuba. He participated as a Bammer in BAM - Bogotá Audiovisual Market 2023 with the Colombian feature film LA ROCA NEGRA QUE SIEMPRE ESTUVO AQUÍ (Noctambulos Sas), directed by Daniel Sánchez. PURPLE DICTATORSHIP (2020), his first short film, was selected for more than 100 national and international festivals, including the 15th CineBH, March on Washington 2020 and the 13th Zózimo Bulbul Black Cinema Meeting, the 43rd Guarnicê Film Festival and others. The short was shown on free TV by Rede Minas and was acquired by the streaming platform Cardume Curtas.
