Leda Protopsalti (Piraeus, 24 January 1940) is a Greek actress. She was born in Piraeus in 1940 as Lydia Protopsalti and studied acting at the Drama School of the Art Theatre. Her sister is the soprano Elsa Castella. At the age of six, she went to her first audition, while at twelve, she participated in her first theatrical performance. Since then, she has made many appearances in the theatre. She was one of the founders of the troupe Vimata in 1969 and since 1974 she has been a permanent collaborator of the Stoa Theatre. She made her first film appearance at the age of ten in the film My Child Must Live. She has participated in films such as: The Devil's Socks, El Greco and The Rose of Smyrna.
