Susan Pickett (Visual Effects)

Susan Pickett is an American visual effects producer. Born in Bronxville, New York, she has worked on more than twenty films, primarily in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She began her career in visual effects in the mid-2000s, serving as a coordinator on films such as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006). Her early producing credits include Idiocracy (2006), for which she served as visual effects producer. Pickett became more deeply involved in the Marvel franchise, working as a visual effects production manager on Iron Man (2008) and moving into the role of visual effects producer for Iron Man 2 (2010). Her work continued with The Avengers (2012), where she oversaw over 2,200 visual effects shots, coordinating contributions from ILM, Weta Digital, Fuel VFX, Luma Pictures, and others.
