She has worked on comics such as Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man, and Ms. Marvel. Amanat is known for co-creating Kamala Khan/MMs. Marvel, the first Muslim-American superhero with a solo Marvel Comics series. Amanat was born in New Jersey to Pakistani immigrants.
