Xu Xiaoxi is a Chinese filmmaker born in Chengdu (China) with an international background. He obtains his BA in Fine Arts from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa, specializing in the field of Video Art. He moves to Los Angeles in 2008 to study a MFA in Filmmaking at the NYFA, Universal Studios in Hollywood, where he graduates in 2009 with the feature film "Desire Street", co-directed with his collaborator Roberto F.
