Anky Cyriaque is a Haitian-born director who operates by the concept “Story is King”. Anky Cyriaque moved to New York at the age of 7. English was his second language, and he learned how to speak English from watching television and movies. This is where his love of the art was birthed. Early in his career, Cyriaque began directing 30-second commercial spots for Jive Records. This included: The Clipse, Anthony Hamilton, Charlie Wilson, and OutKast. Anky went on to direct two short films, “A Cat in Heat” and “Love & I Had a Fight”. This earned him distribution from Shorts International. His two short films have been aired on their Direct TV channels multiple times and were well received for their creativity.
