Thomas Allen (Acting)

Thomas Michael Allen is an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in Washington, D.C., his father was a salesman and his mother a professional day care provider. He began studying acting while in high school in Fairfax, Virginia and attended The North Carolina School of the Arts, leaving when cast in a national tour of "Camelot". He then appeared for a season at The Folger Theater in Washington before moving to New York City. In New York, he co-created and appeared in the original cast of the long running Off Broadway hit "Tony and Tina's Wedding" which ran for seventeen years in New York and spawned productions all over the world.
