Gurmmeet Singh (Directing)

Gurmmeet Singh is a television and film director, dialogue writer, and actor. He has worked in the industry for over 20 years since his short film 'Fear This' was chosen for the Digital Talkies International Film Festival. Before his directorial debut, Singh served as a second assistant director in Ramji Londonwaley (2005). The following year, he worked as an assistant director for the blockbuster hit Don (2006), starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, directed by Farhan Akhtar. This catapulted Singh's career, and in 2007, he became an assistant director for Gandhi, My Father (2007), which won the Asia Pacific Screen Award and National Film Award for Best Screenplay.
