Vangelis Goufas (Greek: Βαγγέλης Γκούφας, January 22, 1925 – November 1, 2016) was a Greek playwright, screenwriter and poet. He was born in Athens in January 1925. He studied law. He started working as a journalist and from a very early age he was involved in theater as a screenwriter. He also later worked in cinema, radio and television as well as with the advertising company "Gnomi". Vangelis Goufas had written many plays, film scripts, original radio sketches and parlaments, many adaptations for television and lyrics for many songs by well-known composers such as Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Xarhakou, Kounadis, Plessas, etc., of which the most notable were "Dream Tied", "The Moon is Lost", "My Tears Are Hot", "The Cloud Brought Rain", etc. His first radio collaborations were in texts for the long-running radio series "My Little Bitter Love".
