Four years after five students mysteriously committed suicide after taking part in a courage test on the ghost bridge in Donghu university, a reporter and a cinematographer are back to that place and try to get everything clear.
The movie does so many things right, but fails in the immersion of found footage by having cinema shots spliced in with the handheld footage. Without that I may have given it a higher score, but as it is it's not a proper found footage film. It does introduce some originality with its curse and how it works, and also manages to include some of the general scares found naturally in found footage movies. It's no Noroi, Cult, or Occult, but it is nice to have found footage being created in other Asian countries. This helps to create new movies based on local traditions and folklore.
Inspired by the urban legend of a haunted bridge at Tunghai University, this film blends myth and mystery through a modern horror lens, weaving a story of students who vanish during a live-streamed investigation. While the narrative delivers unexpected twists and uses a compelling non-linear timeline, minor inconsistencies in detail—such as sudden phone recoveries and missing stream indicators—detract from the immersion. Still, with its eerie atmosphere and haunting premise, the film remains a solid pick for fans of supernatural lore and psychological unraveling.
