From Writer/Director Frank Appache and Glockbuster Films & Hochellywood Productions, comes the short film Sleazy Pete which is a proof of concept for the fake trailer "Shepherd of Death". Film takes place in a proto-apocalyptic world where the church runs drugs and rule the streets with an iron cross or in the case of the head priest a switchblade. Over the top acting and gore are reminiscent of 70's exploitation films. Fans of the more recent Hobo With a Shotgun will love the unapologetic violence and insanity.
There are many elements of this short that would benefit a feature length version. Practical effects are very good and the film is shot well despite the meagre budget. Overall a short film that seems like it was as much fun to make as it is for the viewer to watch.
