Description
We are surrounded by commercial images. Everywhere we look, everything we touch is already marked with economic value. And as we construct our identities from the images and impressions we encounter every day, our selves become increasingly commercialized. We are being sucked into the economic realm. We become our own propaganda. Things become even more complicated if our identity is gay, an identity that constantly needs to reorganize its relationship with the dominant hetero culture and constantly seeks a center to form a comforting subculture. But what if this subculture, this "gay self," is also being commercialized? An experimental film about gay iconography in a commodified age.
