Initial Impressions
At first, I was unsure about watching documentary-style films, as I typically prefer action and adventure movies. However, once I began watching, I was instantly drawn in. The film deserves its recognition as an experimental feature film from The Golden State Film Festival, rather than being labeled a traditional documentary.

Them Public Romantics offers a vivid look at the daily realities on the corners of Los Angeles. As I watched, I experienced a range of emotions—sadness, curiosity, anger, and even laughter. The film challenges viewers by exposing how many situations in America are often overlooked, ignored, or pushed aside.
