Ómur jóla captures a glimpse of life and community during Christmas in the remote northern towns of Ísafjörður, Flateyri, and Þingeyri in Westfjords of Iceland. The title is inspired by the Westfjords Christmas psalm Kirkjan ómar öll by composer Sigvaldi Kaldalóns.
